children are inheritance from the LordWe are living in some perilous times; when the price of a child to some people is worth less than the hassle of of raising them. I am speaking of abortion; it's much easier for some to abort their children instead of binging them into the world and providing for them - the childs price is worth less than the hassle to the adult - and cut it anyway you want to cut it, this is usually the case. The time will come when there are more abortions than births - because of the hassle, and the "I'm just not ready" excuse; along with the "it's just not the right time" excuse. These things should have been thought about before the fun time started - before the sex and fornicationColossians 3:5 - Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:   KJV. If people want to act like adults, they should be responsible like adults - and therein could certainly be the problem, body ready to reproduce, mind of an adolescence. At any rate, the Bible tells us that children are an inheritance from from our creator.

The Psalmist David, king of Israel and father of many children said in Psalm 127:3Psalm 127:3 - Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.   KJV that children were a persons heritage from God as well as a reward to the parent. Those children that God so graciously blesses us with is our inheritance from him that is of much value. The days are coming in all our lives when our youth has past, our friends have gone their ways, and tomorrow doesn't look as bright as it did when we were young. That is the time to fall back on our inheritance from God, our children and then, our their children; our grands. Much like a money inheritance would help when we are trying to get our lives into gear at the beginning, the child inheritance helps when we are past our prime. They can help to fulfill and enrich our lives, and they can make tomorrow look a whole lot brighter. It's quite hard for this writer to understand why people would want to abort and discard their inheritance, but then again it's quite hard to understand what we see going on all around us every day. The Bible makes it very clear about our kids, they are an inheritance, and happy is the man who has a quiver full of them - sooner or later, people who waste their inheritance will regret it !!
