The world is a very dangerous place—you never get out of it alive.

At what year of age is the number of deaths greater? According to insurance company averages, the number of deaths is greatest in the first year after birth. In 1961, there were 107,965 infant deaths reported in the United States. This was more than the number for each age from 1 through 55 years. A secondary peak in the number of deaths occurs near age 77.

Population statistics indicate that nearly 3 billion people may have lived on the earth at the time of Noah’s Flood. This means that 3 billion were killed by God’s judgment at the Flood.
